Originally from Connecticut, my husband and I moved to Florida in 2021. We have been together since high school, and got married in 2023 in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I graduated from UConn (Go Huskies!) with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and currently work as a mechanical engineer.

Being New England born and raised, there are parts of our Florida home that we are still adjusting to, and others where our New England roots definitely show through. The Florida heat and humidity still shock us, even after 5 years. We’re far more prepared for a cold front than a hurricane, and often look forward to a drop in temperature. I do not handle lizards calmly, quietly, or well, especially when they find their way into the house - despite how normal I am told this is. And finally, and maybe most importantly, our loyalty to the New England Patriots runs deep.

When I am not behind the camera, you can usually find me taking on a new house project, playing a round of golf (still learning course etiquette), reading a good book (I love giving and taking new recommendations), or relaxing with my husband.

My journey with photography began when I started to tag along to my younger brother’s Parks & Rec soccer games at 9 years old. I don’t remember the details surrounding why I picked up the family camera, nor can I tell you why I initially kept taking pictures. Growing up, I was always on the sidelines of my younger siblings’ sporting events; following their never-ending activity as they transitioned from one season right into the next. Through this, I was able to develop an appreciation for sports, games, and the athletes that play them. Over time, my curiosity for capturing my siblings grew into something that I enjoyed doing and sparked a passion that, over 15 years later, hasn’t quieted. My interest grew to a love and the hobby has since turned into so much more.

I now have over 10 years experience in professional photography, and have captured everything from sports, events, portraits, professional headshots, and weddings. It is my mindset, my technical skills, and my enjoyment of it that allows me to capture images that feel alive, true to the instant and completely unique. I have a knack for timing, for anticipating the decisive instant, for seeing the shot in my mind before it exists in reality. While some may hold down the shutter hoping to catch something great, I rely on instinct, knowledge, and precision to make every frame count. Each click of the shutter preserves a moment that would have otherwise simply passed.

There is always something remarkable to see in every shot: a look, a pose, a smile. Those are the shots that I work to get and the ones you get to keep.
